Rössy Kapell is a family business that has existed on Smögen, a small fishing island located on the Swedish west coast, since 1974.
Here, the traditions are linked to boats, fishing and of the sea in general are strong, as the whole community has lived on this for several hundred years. Rössy Kapell stands for high quality craftsmanship and a personal approach to all customers. We also work closely with Hallberg Rassy and sew canopies and boat covers for all their boat models.
Together with you, we work out the best performance of the canopy for your particular boat and in this way we have made custom made our specialty!

is our specialty
We solve all kinds of challenges or wishes you might have for your canopy. Whether it’s a canopy for a brand new boat, a repair of your old one or an improvement to an existing one, we’ll get it done. We measure and make templates, we sew and assemble, either on site at our place or out at your place. All according to your wishes.
We have it all!
When you sew a canopy, spray hood or cover for a boat, you always need a template to sew to. Since we have been around for almost 50 years, we have several thousand templates in our archive! Shelf meter upon shelf meter with real, analogue plastic templates and megabite after megabite with modern, digital templates. Have we already sewn a canopy to your boat? Then we have saved the template!

Our workshop is always open for a visit! However, it is good if you call before you come so that we are not out designing chapels for someone else at that time. We look forward to receiving you at Smögen and hearing more about your wishes so that your boating life can be even a little better!
